Innoceana is an international marine conservation organization founded by Carlos Mallo, recipient of the 2025 Goldman Environmental Prize — widely known as the “Green Nobel Prize” — for his work protecting the marine ecosystems of the Canary Islands. The challenge was to create an identity capable of visually reflecting who Innoceana truly is: an organization where science, activism, education and contemporary communication coexist within the same voice. We developed a flexible and recognizable visual system designed to communicate clarity, credibility and momentum while moving away from the traditional visual codes often associated with environmental organizations.

The project included a complete rebrand covering visual identity, graphic systems, website design and a wide range of communication assets across both digital and physical formats. From campaign creatives and large-scale banners to editorial pieces, art direction and social media content, every element was designed to help Innoceana communicate its mission in a more human, accessible and emotionally engaging way. Today, Innoceana continues to grow as one of the most relevant independent voices in contemporary marine conservation, working internationally across research, education and environmental activism. An organization built to keep evolving, expanding its impact and taking on future global challenges without losing the closeness, energy and sense of purpose that shaped the project from the very beginning.
