At A Little Too Much, we had the honor of collaborating with George Hirthler to create four motion graphics videos designed to celebrate the legacy of Pierre de Coubertin, the father of modern Olympism. These videos were featured in a prestigious exhibition in Paris, organized in celebration of the 2024 Olympic Games—a unique event that brings together the history and spirit of sports.
Our videos not only capture the essence of sport but also pay tribute to Coubertin’s legacy, connecting with audiences through dynamic and engaging design.
Each video stands out for its unique visual style, based on a blend of textures and the use of one of the Olympic colors in each piece. Additionally, we worked with historical images over 100 years old, enhancing their quality using advanced artificial intelligence tools. Every scene was meticulously composed and designed to tell a visual story, achieving a perfect balance between art, history, and technology.
These four videos were featured in “Genius of Sport: The Life and Legacy of Pierre de Coubertin”, an exhibition that is part of the Paris 2024 Cultural Olympiade. This event, presented by the Association Familiale Pierre de Coubertin, celebrates the life and legacy of the founder of the modern Olympic Games.
The project was a true collaborative effort involving a team of four specialists: a creative director, an art director, an animator, and writer and storyteller George Hirthler.
Over the course of 10 months, we combined talent, innovation, and impactful visual storytelling to create unique pieces that captivated the exhibition’s audience.
